The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a designated first aider in their workplace. Delivered over three days, this comprehensive qualification equips you with the skills and confidence to manage a wide range of injuries and illnesses that could occur in a working environment. As a fully regulated qualification approved by Ofqual, employers can book this course secure in the knowledge that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities — without the need for lengthy due diligence checks.

Certification

On successful completion you will receive an Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Award certificate valid for 3 years. Qualsafe's online verification tool allows employers to check the validity of your certificate at any time. To maintain competency, we recommend completing an annual refresher course between renewals.

Progression

The First Aid at Work qualification can support career progression in health & safety, occupational health, and related fields. It may also be used as a stepping stone towards higher-level qualifications. Requalification is available as a 2-day course for those holding a current or recently expired FAW certificate.
