A focused 1-day Ofqual regulated qualification covering essential paediatric life-saving skills.
Would you know what to do if you saw a child in need of first aid? A quick, confident response can make all the difference — and in the most serious emergencies, it can mean the difference between life and death.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is a one-day qualification designed in line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. It provides the essential skills needed to deal with a range of urgent paediatric first aid situations involving infants and children, and is ideal for those requiring a more focused qualification to meet specific workplace or regulatory needs.
On successful completion you will receive an Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Award certificate valid for 3 years. Certificate validity can be checked online using Qualsafe's verification tool.
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid unit forms Unit 1 of the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF). If you go on to complete the full two-day Paediatric First Aid qualification, assessments from this course may be used towards that achievement.
