About this course
FAW certificates must be renewed before expiry. This 2-day requalification refreshes and extends learners' FAW certification, covering the complete FAW syllabus. Ideally booked 2–3 months before expiry, and our on-site delivery saves travel costs.
Assessment is by continuous practical observation and a short written knowledge check, with results confirmed before learners leave.

Delivery & assessment
Two consecutive days (12 GLH). Assessment by continuous practical observation and a written knowledge check. Maximum class size is 12 learners per trainer.
Your certificate
Qualsafe Awards FAW certificate, Level 3 RQF, valid for three years and nationally recognised.
Frequently asked questions
Can I requalify if my certificate has just expired?
You can requalify within 28 days of expiry. Beyond that, you must complete the full 3-day FAW.
How often can I repeat this?
Every 3 years, on expiry of your current certificate.
Do I need to resit every section?
The full syllabus is covered, but the trainer tailors focus to the areas needing development.
