Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Adult BLS, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF)

A half-day Ofqual regulated qualification combining life support, defibrillator, and anaphylaxis management skills.

Course Overview

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction that requires immediate treatment. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Adult BLS, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) combines critical resuscitation skills with the knowledge and practical competence to recognise and treat a casualty experiencing anaphylaxis.

Based on guidance from the Resuscitation Council (UK), this qualification is ideal for anyone with a specific responsibility at work, or in community and voluntary activities, where they may need to respond to a cardiac or anaphylactic emergency.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Individuals with a workplace responsibility for first aid, particularly where there is a known anaphylaxis risk
  • Staff in schools, nurseries, food service, leisure and healthcare settings
  • Community and voluntary workers who may encounter anaphylaxis emergencies
  • Anyone looking to build CPR, AED and anaphylaxis management skills in a single qualification

What You Will Learn
